It's a beautiful Day — Say Bye to Sydney
"Thanks to Your Deep Love—Sydney"
The journey comes to be ended, perhaps I've written too much. But I want to delve deeper. Thanks to my deep love for Sydney, I took countless photos and filmed countless short videos. Some of the photos and clips are truly touching, aren't they? Just 2% of Blue Mountains National Park area is enough to keep you captivated for a whole day. The koalas and kangaroos at the wildlife park are so close you never imagined you could get. Not to mention the lush green grass, the ancient buildings and the artistic atmosphere are enough to keep you coming back for more exposure. Looking at the center of Sydney University and the sprawling Victoria Park, being calms your mind and slows down your pace.
Australia is rich in natural resources, and they thrive on them. You can always find nature, surrounded by green grass and gentle sunshine, feeling its closeness to you. They don't pursue speed; they don't need fast trains. And because of their abundant natural resources, they don't need electric cars. Of course, electronic payments and ride-hailing services are popular in Australia, but they don't believe society needs to rush into the AI era. They believe that what they have is enough, and there's no need to desire too much.
In a diverse environment, facing many immigration issues is a challenge that major cities face today. Many grassroots jobs in Sydney are held by South Asians and Chinese. The number of South Asians and Chinese in Sydney's population is increasing, and they form the backbone of grassroots labor. I've noticed that some restaurants are family-run, and coffee shops, in particular, are primarily individually owned. I personally don't think they look down on other professions. On the contrary, they treasure the space for everyone to operate. If anyone tries to monopolize, consumers and stakeholders will resist and say no. I still love those meals experience at Tiandian Bar and Italian Restaurant. It wasn't just about eating, it was about connecting, like chatting with new friends. I'm grateful for these experiences which i treasure in this trip.
Australians have their own preferred pace and lifestyle. The speed of social development isn't their primary concern, and they don't seem to care whether some land is developed. First and foremost, there must be sunshine and beaches, an environment that connects with nature, and even more importantly, a sense of spiritual relaxation and a sense of connection with nature. During afternoon tea, you'll find many office workers chatting and chatting over glasses of wine on the streets. On holidays, groups or families often go hiking together, and then each family eats a whole large salad at a restaurant. Seeing people sharing plates and eating together seems a bit strange. Sydney has the energy of a big city, but compared to other cities, it clearly has a very unique attitude and pace of life.
During my short trip of few days, I captured and wrote about everything I could. Thanks to my deep love for Sydney, I was able to immerse myself in it. Sydney faces the issue of immigration. When population change exceeds a country's capacity, it's like an ecological imbalance. Australians have always had their own way of dealing with ecological imbalances, and we should be confident that we can resolve them. I've written so far, and any further would be sentimental. See you again, Sydney.
